ÉLAN CIRC is a fully integrated magazine and journal fulfillment system. The core architecture of the ÉLAN Circ software is designed to manage both a consolidated prospect/customer database and provide the marketing tools to get and keep subscribers. ÉLAN Circ takes full advantage of its modern and powerful data base technology: the system is table driven and provides the publisher with custom set up tools to mold the system to unique needs and to ensure efficiencies in the data entry operations. This flexibility extends throughout the system, including in the areas of data conversion, demographic/psychographic tracking, close scheduling and standard reporting.

The software handles both paid and trade titles with full audit capabilities, e.g., ABC,CCAB and BPA, including BPA unit and firm audits. ÉLAN CIRC database may also be used as the core, single customer DBMS in the suite of software modules which consists of product fulfillment, reader service, ad billing and sales prospecting (comp lists).

Accounting

Paid subscription tracking provides financial information in standard reports, in addition to a general ledger interface to either our accounting system or a third party system.
Gift Renewal Billing allows invoicing of Donor or Donee.
Reporting on deferred/earned, aging, and payment method provides detailed, as well as summary information on all important aspects of paid business.
Credit card processing with forms/reports allows you to submit forms, either UCC or any other user-defined format, or interface indirectly to your bank or credit card clearinghouse.
Cash application across pub and subscriber allows you to enter a single check for one or multiple invoices.
International billing and currency conversion are standard options.
Period Reconciliation shows starting and ending balances tied to deferred income.

Output

User formatted labels allow you to use whatever size or type of label you want.

Tape and disk file output are user-defined providing unlimited options for downloading subscriber lists and information to PC applications, or third party services.

SQL report writing accommodates the need for technical users to perform sophisticated selects, and produce alternative report writing.
