SYSTEM SUITABILITY ANALYSIS

The Media Services Group's System Suitability Analysis is designed to clarify requirements, define actual costs and ensure the buy-in of users and management before your software implementation project goes to contract. When you agree to proceed with an SSA, we will meet with you at your location, gather input from your project stakeholders, and develop a preliminary analysis of the fit between our software and your users expectations.

We will:

  • Assign a Media Services business consultant to come on-site and spend 5 days with your project team.
  • Analyze your current and proposed business practices, and identify any potential gaps between the The Media Services solution and your business needs.
  • Propose modifications to improve processes, if necessary.
  • Review your IT infrastructure and address how we would work together.
  • Review your conversion requirements, including timetables, interface requirements and data owners/experts.
  • Identify your reporting requirements, including identification of business critical reports.
  • Define Security and Set-up Requirements, based on your business needs.
  • Clearly define the scope of investments associated with the implementation of the Media Services module(s).
  • Document your goals in replacing current systems, and recommend ways you can track the implementation to insure that you are meeting your goals.

Through this process, you will

  • Mitigate your company's risks, both in financial and staff resources.
  • Have a structured procedure to identify policy and process changes before the implementation.
  • Know that you have the right team in place, gain internal buy-in on system requirements and insure cooperation as the project proceeds.
  • Reduce any potential for gaps and have an opportunity to address them in advance of contract signing.
  • Document your goals and your expectations with The Media Services Group resources doing the legwork.

Within two weeks of meeting with your implementation team, we will provide a comprehensive report covering interfaces, conversion rules, potential policy changes, potential modifications and a full cost analysis to assist you in your final contract decisions.
